Working in the tourist industry I am around families often. I do not have children of my own, but have helped raise a few boys in my time. What I have learned & observed is that children are like sponges. You may be watching what you say, but your actions speak louder than your words. When you go on a tour (and yes this post is based on a recent observation) and the guide gives you safety instructions, but your too busy fussing with your personal items or just choose to ignore them. Your children will learn from this. They will be rude, like you. When you disregard the rules (however small they may be) your children have no reason to regard them. Give your children something good to soak up if life~ manners.
