Happy to call Bisbee home.

Wow... I have not blogged in quite some time.  So much has happened since last October.  Pops passed in November, he got to watch the Red Sox win another World Series & see his sons shaved face(I am glad we moved out here for those reasons alone.)  I left the Letson, started & stopped working for a small new coffee shop in town, then landed back working for The KillerBeeGuy.  I also landed a job with the city(something I've been trying to do since we moved here).  B also got a job, his dream job in fact.  He is now the Brewer for the local brewery.  I'm so proud of him.  Just about the same time, Summer gave us our 1st Great Niece, another proud & happy moment.  Then there were some sad moments... Great Aunt Lillian passed, but she lived a long wonderful life.  Auntie Ruth also passed... this was very hard for the family.  I also finally visited home.  I had not been home or seen Ma in 2 years.  It was too long!  I cried when I saw her... heck I cried just thinking about seeing her.  It was a FANTASTIC visit home.  I got to see so much family, mostly to the credit of my cousin Barbara, who hosted a family gathering with Chinese take-out!(one of the food wants on my list)  I also was lucky to see many friends(I have to credit FB for that... it has it's benefits... heck Niki & I had not seen each other in 30+ years!)  wow... I'm getting old.  My birthday is in 9 day's.  LOL... maybe I'll get a house... big wishes.  Wishes... my mind was filled with them before I left for home... some not so nice.  Bisbee is a small town.  Heck it's the population of my HS!  So its been taking some time & some toll to get used to the small town life.  I really wasn't sure if I was fit for it.  I needed this trip home to find out.

I came back with a new look on life.
I realize that I am now a small town gal with a big city heart.
I love this tiny town & the people in it.
I will always love where I came from & it will always be a part of me, but I am happy here.
I am happy to call Bisbee home.
